Scholarships

The Branson Athletic Booster Club Scholarship is designed to recognize and support outstanding student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence in both athletics and academics. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students pursuing their respective sport at the collegiate level and to acknowledge their dedication, sportsmanship, and commitment to their athletic and academic pursuits.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Enrollment: Must be a graduating senior in good standing at Branson High School.

• Athletic Participation: Must have a commitment to play a respective sport at the collegiate level.

• Academic Achievement: Minimum GPA of 2.25

• Character and Leadership: Demonstrated leadership, sportsmanship, and positive attitude both on and off the field.

 

Application Requirements:

• Application Form: Complete the scholarship application google form and submit by the deadline.

• Transcript: Provide an official high school transcript.

• Recommendation Letters: Submit two letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, or community leaders who can attest to the student’s character and achievements.

 

Award Details:

• Amount: Up to $2000

• Number of Awards: Number of scholarships awarded will be decided annually.

• Disbursement: The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient to be applied towards tuition, fees, or other educational expenses. If a student athlete forgoes participation in their prospective sport, scholarship money will need to be returned to the booster club.

 

Selection Process: A committee of booster club representatives will review all applications based on the criteria outlined. Finalists may be interviewed to further assess their qualifications and contributions.

 

Application Deadline: All application materials must be submitted by April 30, 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
